The bottom line is that just as much as you want to get out of debt your creditors also want to get their money and interest.
The preliminary negotiations, in a pessimistic result, the results should not matter to growth. You must take it into a lean, but it needs to look at their own mistakes, strive for what you have done wrong and what you can do to correct misperceptions and do a better introduction to the next.
